Positive Covid case at my partner’s place of work. In her team 🤦♂️. I really hope she wasn’t infected. We’ll see this in the next few days 🤞. Normally it should be ok as everyone was wearing a mask all day long, but you never know…
My little penguin has chickenpox. It’s the 3rd day… I can’t wait for it to pass. It’s difficult for a 3yo to understand why scratching is not a good thing to do.

Tomorrow I wanted to have a ME-day a day when I stay in bed and watch movies and TV series all day long.
It seems I won’t get this. I think tomorrow I’ll be babysitting my little sick penguin 🐧.

I’ve decided a few months ago to take a break from posting here.
But I quickly realized that I’d rather use micro.blog for my thoughts / my photos than other platforms that are going to save everything about me.
And, besides that, I really missed this community. I don’t “know” a lot of people around here, but the interactions I had were always interesting. And what other people were posting was real and not fake as it is on other platforms where everyone only shows the “perfect” side of their lives, even if it’s a big fat lie.
Anyway, I’m back, and I’m glad to be here…

My little one (2,5yo) doesn’t want to sleep alone.
She had a period when we only stayed like 5 minutes with her after reading a story and turning off the lights and then she managed to feel asleep all alone.
But now if we leave the room she screams and cries. Or we have to tell her that we’ll take her pacifier for her to calm down and fall asleep.
Any parenting tip(s) ? 🙈
Normally, starting today I qualify for the vaccine. Well… it seems that’s only available in theory, because in the “real world” the dates are far far away or the vaccination centers are not accepting people under 50/60 yo. Pfffffff 👻

My blood sugar was too high in the last few days.
Being inactive plays a big role.
So yesterday I’ve started walking during the day.
I felt ashamed this morning when I woke up with a mild muscle soreness. From walking 🤦🏻♂️. Only walking…
But hey, the important thing is to try doing it each day and, most important, to lower my blood sugar levels and take care of my diabetes 🦸♂️
